Process to design ID cards for student and export as template using Student ID Cards Maker Software
Step 1: Download and install Student ID Cards Maker Software on Windows PC for designing ID cards for students.

Step 2: Run Students ID Cards Maker Software that provides two modes to design student ID cards. For demonstration purpose we have selected ‘Design using Pre-Defined Templates’ option.
Step 3: Choose any one pre-defined template to design ID card, select card size and click on ‘Fill User Profile’ option.
Step 4: Enter student details manually or browse excel file of student details to load excel file data for generating multiple student ID cards. Select Data Source, Series/Excel Column, sides and click on OK button.
Step 5: Wizard shows you, inserted details on template and press “OK” button.
Step 6: You can add various designing objects on front side or back side of ID cards using their properties and specify card shape, border and background using advance Card Properties.
Step 7: To export designed ID cards as template for future usage, go to ‘Standard Toolbar’, click on export option and select ‘Export as Template’ option as shown. Similarly you can export ID card as Image or as PDF file format.
Step 8: Enter template name and click on “Add” button. Now you can use saved template from ‘User Defined’ option when you want to start designing new ID card.
Step 9: If you want to print designed ID card then click on ‘Print’ option from ‘Standard Toolbar’. Adjust printing settings as per required manner and press ‘Print’ button.
